War of the Roses is a week-long philanthropy event taking place in the spring. Sororities compete in a variety of different challenges that raise money and awareness for those with disabilities. In 2020, the Tau chapter raised $3,500 for the Ability Experience. In 2021, over $7,600 was raised in just five days. In 2022, nearly $10,000 raised. Not to mention, donating around $1,000 to philanthropies for other campus organizations. The week ends with a “End the R-Word” banner signing that members of NCSU collectively participate in! In 2022, nearly 1,200 signatures were added to the banner.
